5 November – Bonfire Night!

10-14 Nov – World Nursery Rhyme Week

11 Nov –Â Remembrance Day
Introduce the concept of remembrance and poppies in a sensitive, age-appropriate way, focusing on peace, memory, and being thankful. Create poppy artwork with paint or paper plates. 13 Nov – World Kindness Day
Encourage intentional acts of kindness. Create a “Kindness Jar” where children can drop notes about good deeds they have seen or done.
16-22 Nov – Road Safety Week

20 Nov – U.N. World Children’s Day
A day to celebrate children’s rights and advocate for their well-being. Focus on giving children a voice and letting them lead an activity of their choice.
30 Nov – St Andrew’s Day
Celebrate Scottish culture! Explore kilts, traditional music, and food. You could learn a simple Scottish dance or focus on animals like the Scottish wildcat.
