The successful candidate will join an award-winning UK startup about to go global, so must be a self-starter, reliable and able to organise and manage themselves in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Develop and deploy new functionality across our technology stack.
  • Be responsible for the technical support and development of Kinderly.
  • Set the technical direction for Kinderly’s software and architecture.
  • Work with our Product team to design solutions from their requirements.
  • Ensure that all software development activities take place to a high quality, in the right way, following good design and development principles.
  • Ensure the Scrum process runs smoothly and effectively.

We’re looking for an individual

  • Who is fluent in modern web development practises.
  • With a strong grasp of software development practices such as refactoring, debugging, TDD and version control
  • Has a passion for building modular, performant and reusable code
  • Will take ownership of all aspects of software development
  • Who can communicate clearly and effectively within a team
  • With a logical approach to problem solving
  • Has a great attitude, even when faced with challenging situations
  • Demonstrates a passion for software development. Loves to code and always has side-projects on the go
  • Driven to learn and keep up to date with latest technologies
