Cheryl Warren – SEND Reform in Early Years: What’s Changing, What’s Unclear, and What Comes Next
Wednesday 22nd Apr @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
£5
The government’s new SEND reforms have been generating significant discussion across the education sector, but what do they actually mean for early years settings right now.
In this one-hour webinar, neurodiversity-affirming trainer and consultant Cheryl Warren – Aperion Training, will unpack the proposed reforms through an early years lens. We will explore why reform is being proposed, what the current SEND reforms are saying, and importantly what it does not yet confirm.
This session will clearly explain the status of the White Paper and why its proposals are not yet statutory changes. Practitioners will leave with a grounded understanding of what may lie ahead for early years SEND support, provision and partnership working. We will also explore how early years professionals can ensure their voices are heard in the consultation process and why this moment matters for the future of inclusive practice.
