Donna Gaywood – Documenting young children’s learning: The good, the bad, the ugly
Wednesday 23rd Feb 2022 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeShould we continue to document children’s learning? Who is it for? Who benefits? Donna Gaywood, the project coordinator for Birth to 5 Matters, will lead this interactive session to help practitioners review current practices and think about how to put the child at the centre of documenting learning. You will have an opportunity to:
- Consider why we document children’s learning and if there is any value in doing so
- Think about what records you currently are keeping and whether they are fit for purpose
- Understand the child’s role in the whole process
- Develop practical ideas which will support children’s learning.
