Dr Sarah Earle – Early science: supporting playful exploration in the early years

£5This Kinderly webinar will consider the place of science in the early years and how to support playful exploration.
Examples will be drawn from the early years section of the nationally significant Teacher Assessment in Primary Science (TAPS) project. We will consider the role of the adult, continuous provision and outdoor learning. Plus, a wide range of freely available resources will be signposted!
About the speaker
Dr Sarah Earle was a primary school teacher in Bristol for 13 years, before moving into teacher education in 2012. She is now Reader in Education at Bath Spa University and leads science projects for primary and early years practitioners across the UK. Her current projects include Education Endowment Foundation funded Focus4TAPS project and the Nuffield funded Practical Work in Primary Science projects. She is also the editor for the open access professional practice Journal of Emergent Science.
