About the speaker
Kayleigh is an experienced practitioner who was selected to be part of the co-construction of the Welsh curriculum for funded non-maintained nursery settings. The child centred ethos of the curriculum has inspired Kayleigh to want to spread the messages far and wide and encourage all settings to implement these values in Wales. Kayleigh now works as a curriculum implementation officer supporting all settings across the sector on their curriculum journey. Kayleigh delivers training face to face and online as well as creating resources tailored to the sector’s needs. Kayleigh is particularly passionate about loose parts and the experiences and opportunities they bring to children in their play and overall development. She believes that every child should have the opportunity to play with loose parts throughout their childhood.
