Cheryl Warren – Neurodiversity – embedding a strengths-based environment
Wednesday 15th May @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
£5In this webinar we will unravel the terminology, clarifying the terms around neurodiversity, by doing so we can ensure we have the foundation to truly begin to understand the sensory needs, the play and the behaviours of our neurodivergent children.
We will explore sensory processing needs, and how these link to the way our unique children experience the world around them. We will explore the behaviours that we may identify as challenging to us as the educator, and how by adjusting our perception and thinking around what we see, can allow us to truly connect with and provide safe spaces for our children to thrive.
We will explore the need to provide a neuroaffirming culture across your setting, what this looks like and strategies that you and the team can adopt to make a difference for neurodivergent children and their families.
