Since the introduction of the Revised EYFS Statutory Framework in 2021, it is increasingly clear that the move away from seeing the child as an individual has gained momentum. A scan of social media illustrates this point as we are directed towards buying in generic programmes, schemes and approaches, or downloading ready-made curriculum documents and resources.
In this webinar Dr Sue will explore how we can focus on the unique child whilst fulfilling our statutory obligations.
About the speaker
Dr Sue Allingham started her career as a teacher and an Early Years Lead before becoming a Local Authority Early Years Adviser. Moving into research, Sue gained an MA then a Doctorate, both in Early Childhood Education. She is now an Independent Consultant, Author and Trainer, with publications on Transitions in the Early Years and Emotional Literacy in the Early Years.
