About the speaker
Laura Reitsis is a safeguarding-focused practitioner with over 14 years’ experience working with dogs and families in real-world settings. She is the Managing Director of a UK boarding kennel and has extensive hands-on experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments and behavioural profiles. Laura specialises in risk management around children and unfamiliar dogs, with a particular focus on outdoor and public environments where incidents are most likely to occur.
Alongside her professional work with dogs, Laura is a volunteer with Girl Guiding and the NSPCC Schools Service, delivering safeguarding education to children and young people.
