About the speaker
Paula Walshe is a published author, PhD candidate and Assistant Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Dundalk Institute of Technology. Her PhD research focuses on STEAM in early years education. Paula’s second book entitled “Full STEAM Ahead – Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Maths in Early Childhood Education” is a guide to implementing STEAM in the early years. She is also an experienced early years educator and previously managed an outdoor pre-school in rural Ireland.
