Sejal Payne – Supporting young children with EAL and who may have additional needs

Wednesday 28th Feb @ 8:00 pm

Free
Children listening to teacher

In this FREE webinar, early childhood expert Sejal Payne looks at how do you welcome young children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and integrate them into your early years settings?

How do you support their English language development? Are you confident in differentiating between English language development and additional educational or developmental needs, such as Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)?

This webinar will identify the challenges facing young children with EAL, explore the pedagogy, assessment and planning for the language need. It will explore a range of practical strategies, resources and guidance to support language acquisition and communication needs.
