Anisah Anaib – Slowing down: Embedding slow pedagogy with babies and toddlers
Wednesday 28th Oct @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Free
Many Early Years provisions promote that their pre-determined routine schedules support the children’s wellbeing. But throughout these pre-determined routine times, the importance of relational attunement, being present and emotional security is often ignored. To promote children’s wellbeing, we must begin by being actively present in the child’s current moment. This enables the endless opportunities for Early Years Professionals to implement meaningful responsive care, which only then allows us to meet the wants and needs of the child.
In this Kinderly free webinar, we will explore:
– The concept of Slow Pedagogy.
– The importance of Slow with babies and toddlers.
– How we can slow down with babies and toddlers.
– What Slow Pedagogy looks like in practice.
